Pediatric Nephrology

Pediatric Nephrology is a subspecialty of Medicine applied to the pediatric age group. It involves addressing kidney and related problems of new-born, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

Pediatric Nephrologist is a super-specialist in the field. One is required to pursue a Doctorate (DM) in Pediatric Nephrology for a duration of at least 3 years, after qualifying with Masters in Medicine (MD) before branching out to this sub-specialty. Alternatively, a fellowship in the sub-specialty is required after DM in Nephrology.

Our Emergency Rooms are equipped to handle complications related to kidneys.
