Neonatal Intensive Care

Neonatal Intensive care is a sub-specialty of Pediatrics which deals with the highest level of medical & nursing care for severely diseased new-born, aged from birth (o days) to 28 days of life. NICU is the new-born’ counterpart of the adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The nurses are highly trained and experienced in managing such new-borns. The protocols employ strict infection control practices and patient safety procedures. The unit is manned with technically competent and qualified doctors & nurses round the clock.
